Message From Family

Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece if so we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as a friend could say; perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us
that day. WHATEVER you did to console our hearts, we THANK YOU so very much WHATEVER the part.

~The Bosby Family loves you and thanks you.

Ronnie Lee Bosby was born to the proud parents of Ella B. Shears and William Bosby on October 5, 1952 in Tallulah, Louisiana. He was the baby brother out of a total of five siblings. Ronnie graduated from McCall High School in June of 1970. His favorite High School subject was English, and he loved sports; he especially loved to play basketball and baseball in his spare time. Ronnie was a fast runner and very athletic as a youth.  He could actually dunk a basketball with 10 lbs ankle weights on each leg. You knew it was on, and Ronnie was in the zone when he turned his baseball cap backward before playing any sport.

Shortly after graduating High School Ronnie and his family moved to Los Angeles, California to start a new chapter in life. His first job was at an industrial warehouse named Hygiene. He worked for this company for fifteen years and was promoted to as high as Shift Manager. During his career, he made many friends and some of his friends even taught him to speak fluent Spanish, which brought him closer to his coworkers. When Hygiene went out of business and subsequently laid him off, he found another work home in 1998 with Parsec. Ronnie worked at Parsec for 18 years as a Ground Man & Hitch Securement Verifier. He loved his job and took great pride in his role and responsibilities. Working twelve-hour shifts were a regular occurrence for him. He loved his job and made many friends.

He was hard working, dedicated and was a provider to many. Ronnie was all about family and friends. He enjoyed family gatherings for barbecues, sporting events and holidays. He was a Los Angeles Lakers fan as well as a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan and had many hats that displayed the logos of his two favorite teams.

He enjoyed drinking his favorite beer, Budweiser or when not beer, a Pepsi soda.  Ronnie loved Bruce Lee movies, John Wayne Cowboy movies and Ice Cube movies (Friday/Next Friday). He would watch these over and over and laugh like it was his first time watching them.

Ronnie Lee Bosby was a well-respected, modest, very funny, friendly, caring and a giving man that touched each person\'s life that had the privilege to know him. The Lord called him home on Friday morning, July 15, 2016, and he leaves behind to cherish his loving memories his four nephews: Patrick Bosby, Anthony Bosby, Joe Albert Jr, and Stephen Albert; four nieces: Ranishia âNieceyâ Bosby, Christian Bosby, Sheneva Bosby and Judith Bosby; and one great-niece, Aliyana Bosby, and a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly.
