Jacklon La Rosa Wright was born on August 5, 1960, in Manila, Alabama to Thomas George Wright and Axie Lee Wright White. She was the oldest of three children. Jacklon received her education in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

She attended Crenshaw High School, where she was a track star and later continued her education at Los Angeles Trade Technical College. She received awards and certificates for baking and for Counseling Chemical and Alcohol Dependency.

Jacklon accepted Christ at an early age. Her early religious background was in the Baptist faith at Cedar Fork Baptist Church in Walker Springs, Alabama. For the last 4 years, Jacklon was a member of Little St. John MBC under Reverend Dr. T.G. Wright, and was a member of the choir.

Jacklon had excellent skills in public relations, she worked as a Customer Service Representative and Cashier for 15 years. She was good at counting cash and greeting people. Jacklon also worked as a Bartender, a Hostess, Waitress and Sales Representative.

Jacklon loved family gatherings, cooking and watching TV. Jacklon displayed an electrifying wide smile, she was also known for her big bright brown eyes that were captivating. Jacklon loved to dress, she had acquired an abundance of shoes, clothes and jewelry. She always wanted to look good. 

On July 28, 2016, Jacklon was called home to be with the Lord. Those who preceded her in death were her grandparents: Edric Wright Sr., and Delcie Wright, her mother Axie Lee Wright-White, a sister Ethel White, a brother Lil Madison White, and two uncles: Leon Wright and Mack Senior Wright.

Jacklon leaves to cherish her memories her father Reverend Thomas G. Wright, stepmother Vertia Wright, stepfather Madison White, four siblings: Victor Xavier Wright, George Bernard Wright, Cheryl Lynn Nichols Alexander (Dawud), James Michael Nichols, Pamela Elaine Nichols and Nathaniel White; two uncles: Sherman Wright and Edric Wright Jr., three aunts: Lillie Triplett, Ethel Washam (Clarence), and Thelma Moffett; nieces and nephews: Michael White, Syre Christian Rowe, Shantay Washington, Tamica White, Tania Washington, Kamariyh Washington, Andrea White and Isis White as well as a host of other relatives, and friends.
