Billy Gene Frost was born August 11, 1939, in Arcadia, Louisiana to the union of Earl and Augusta Frost. He was the fifth of seven children.

He left Louisiana as a young man and went to Kansas City to live with his Aunt. He later moved to California where he continued his education at Fremont High School. Billy started working at Master Processing Rubber Company; he would travel all over the United States and abroad for his job.

Billy could often be found at Compton College training for a marathon, and sometimes at a donut shop or McDonald\'s drinking coffee with his long time friends. Billy loved playing the horses at Hollywood Park Casino and at Santa Anita to catch a daily double. He loved playing cards and he just enjoyed life.

Billy was a devoted father, brother, uncle, and a friend to all he knew.

Billy was a long time resident of Long Beach, California, he lived there for over 20 years.

Billy was loved by his relatives, friends and neighbors. He always had a listening ear, and positive words for those around him.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents Augusta and Earl Frost and his brother Earl Jr.

Those left to cherish his memories are his four children: Kimberly, Rodney, Andre and Melloney Frost; one brother Ernest Frost, four sisters: Gladys Mathis, Hazel Morris, Merdis Cowart and Betty Johnson; a very special friend Elizabeth the mother of three of his children, five grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends.
