Harold Glenn Washington was born November 25, 1952, in Los Angeles, California to Harold Washington and Ollie Pickens Washington. He was the fifth child of nine. Harold received his education in the Compton School District attending Centennial High.

Harold accepted Christ at an early age. His religious background was of the Baptist faith at Christian Assembly Baptist Church.

In his professional life, Harold was a Gardner-Landscaper for 30 years. He was a loveable, kind person with a good sense of humor. Harold was always willing to help. Harold enjoyed horse racing.

On July 13, 2016, Harold was called home. Those who preceded him in death were his parents Harold and Ollie Washington and a brother Kenneth Washington.

He leaves to cherish his memories three children: Sherry Easter, Tracy Conway, and Jamie Washington; three brothers: Alvin Hicks, Aaron Washington, and Jerome Washington; three sisters: Faye Hicks, Betty Washington and Adrian Washington and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
