On July 2, 2016, our Heavenly Father called Ruth Mae Foster home. She was the youngest daughter of Eddie and Susie Sanders born on September 25, 1935, in Carlton, Georgia.

Ruth came from a loving family with 4 brothers and 4 sisters. She enjoyed serving the Lord and helping others, doing word search puzzles and texting her family and friends. She had a heart of gold and was a very humble person. Ruth was a member of Truth Tabernacle Church in Bloomington, CA for 20 years.

She taught for many years in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Foster, her youngest son Ricky Leroy Foster, her brothers: Willie Sanders, Ulysses Sanders, and Robert Sanders; sisters: Emma Sanders-Collins and Wadene Sanders-Sagrard.

Ruth leaves to cherish her memories, children: Deborah Louise Foster-Robinson, Daryl Leon Foster and Theodore Lewis Foster, siblings: Eula Mae Sanders-Grenard, Annette Sanders-Mandley, Carlton (Myrtis) Sanders, grandchildren: Iesha Robinson, Demecca Robinson and husband Derrick Ingram and Daryl Foster II; great-grandchildren: Khalonnie Harris, Kayla Nulligan, Derrick Ingram Jr., Leon Foster III, Elijah Foster; brothers-in-law: James (Audry) Foster, Frank (Thelma) Foster; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
