Teressa Beamon Redmond was born October 25, 1929, to thelate the late John and Lessa Fleming Beamon in Cleveland, Mississippi.  She was the 5th of 6 children. Earl, Wilson, Herbert Erastus and Willie Eva who all preceded her in death.

Teressa was a blessed and unique woman with many talents. She was an outstanding seamstress who loved sewing for her family, friends and others, whether making beautiful pieces of clothing or quilts.  One of her greatest joys came from cooking, feeding and being there for others.

Teressa met and married the love of her life, King Redmond who preceded her in death. God blessed them with a beautiful family.

The one attribute apparent to everyone who knew Teressa was her love for the Lord, her husband and children. She was a devoted wife and mother who instilled Christian values, love and respect into her children.

Teressa made her transition into the arms of our Heavenly Father who loved her most, on Friday, December 18, 2015.

Those who preceded her in death were her son Lindsay Redmond and her grandson Kevin Smith.  She leaves to cherish her legacy, four children: Bettye, Vickie, We We and Lewis; a daughter-in-law Rita, three sons-in-law; Danny Watkins, Sr., Albert Moore, Sr. and Anthony Smith, Sr.; five sisters-in-law: Juanita Beamon, Leola Redmond, Eletha Redmond, Lillie Redmond and Shirley Redmond; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a goddaughter Phyllis Harris, a very special caretaker Queen Williams, as well as as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, her Belmont family and Faith Way family.
