Lee Ester Jackson was born to Mercia Hall Williams and Neal Goodloe Sr. on July 14, 1939, in Postelle, Arkansas. The lovely Lee Ester passed on September 26, 2015, at the age of seventy-six years old. She was happily married to Orlando Jackson for over fifty years. The two met in Toledo, Ohio and thereafter moved to Los Angeles, California together. Lee Ester and Orlando united on March 24, 1973, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The late Lee Ester Jackson was immensely admired not only by her family and friends but by those she came in contact with her on a daily basis. She was known by others as the giving soul who never hesitated to reach out to others in need. Her willingness to help transpired at a young age as she became involved in the church and community with the Door Street Church of Christ in Toledo, Ohio, where she was baptized. Members of the Southside Church of Christ praised Lee Ester for her tremendous dedication as a servant of the Benevolence Committee.

Living in style was a motto Lee Ester seemed to live by. Her family and friends often referred to her as a shop-a-holic. She was known to have the latest technology, the latest stylish clothing, and a wide variety of lovely hats.

Lee Ester had no children, however, she raised her niece Michele Banks and great nephew Vincent Foy as her own. The two loved her dearly and cared for her until her last days.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Orlando Jackson; mother, Mercia Williams; sister, Hester Banks; and brothers, ML Taylor and Neal Goodloe.

She is survived by nieces, Katherine Matlock of Toledo, Ohio and Michele Banks of Los Angeles, California; nephews, Neal Goodloe Jr. of Toledo, Ohio, Jonathan Goodloe, and Vincent Foy; Pamela, Robert, Kenneth,
