Alberta Denise Bradley was born on March 17, 1943, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Robert E. Moore and Pearl A. Moore. In 1959 her family moved to Cleveland, Ohio.

When Alberta was 11 years of age, her family moved to Los Angeles, California. She was baptized while residing in Los Angeles and began her walk with Christ. She attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church later in life. While at Pleasant Hill she participated in church plays and even stole the show as âSister Mooreâ in the Amen Corner.  Alberta attended Gompers Middle School and graduated from Fremont High School both schools in the Los Angeles area. During her teen years, Alberta welcomed the opportunity to participate in school and church plays. She also ran track, sang in the school choir and was a cheerleader.

Alberta started out working as a Stenographer for the County of Los Angeles; she went on to become a representative for the Department of Public Social Services for 35 years. She enjoyed working with the public and helping people. She also enjoyed the benefits her job offered, such as taking long lunch breaks to go to Margarita Jones with co-workers, and coming into work late almost every day!

Alberta met her beloved William L. Bradley at the register of voters in 1964, and they married in 1967. They were married for 37 years and shared many happy times together. William and Alberta had 3 beautiful children, one son, and two daughters.

Alberta was full of life. She loved to play albums and dance the night away with her husband. She enjoyed going to card parties; she was the one to have as your partner in a game of spades, not to mention bid whiz and Tonk. Also, not to be biased, but Alberta, our mom, was the best cook. She threw down in the kitchen like no one else. She could make anything from entrees to desserts, and they were always delicious! Alberta also loved spending time with family and friends. Lunch dates with friends were one of her favorite things to do. As a family we all enjoyed family movie night and family game night. She recently learned how to play UNO. Oh and can\'t forget the Hallmark Channel, she really enjoyed watching those predictable love stories. She would just sit in her recliner and smile as the movie was on. Alberta had a great sense of humor and could talk, talk, talk. Her mom always said Alberta should have been a lawyer as many questions as she likes to ask. Alberta was so kindhearted and sweet. She became affectionately known as âBirdâ by many. Anyone who knew Albert knew her children were the apple of her eyes. Then her grandchildren came along and replaced those apples. She truly loved her family, many relatives, and friends.

On Monday, July 1, 2019, Alberta was led by the Angels to be with our Heavenly Father. She is once again dancing with her beloved William L. Bradley.

Those who preceded Alberta in death were, husband, William L. Bradley, father Robert E. Moore, brother Willie Moore, and sister, Mary C. McKnight.

Alberta leaves top cherish her memories, her beloved mother Pearl Moore, her son Freddie L. Bradley, two daughters: Misha D. Bradley, and Kisha D. Bradley; her sister Patricia (Wayne) Liggins, three precious grandchildren: Joshua Kekoa Olobahi Crenshaw, Chase Anthony Morales, and Kylie Anne Morales; brother-in-law Don E. Williams, uncle John Stennett, son-in-law Carlos Morales, special friends Mary Bush, Gwen Moore, and Ruby Simmons. She also leaves behind a host of very special nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She made a friend wherever she went, (the grocery store, restaurants, etc.) you were never a stranger around her, she always made you feel welcome.
