On July 13, 1926, in Joiner, Arkansas Thomas and Florida Giles became the parents to an adorable baby girl, whom they named Pansy Lee.

Several years later Florida married Edmond Morgan. Edmond was a very hard worker and decided to relocate the family to Los Angeles, California. There was a mutual love between Edmond and Pansy. She was the apple of his eye, and Florida was the balance to keep her from being spoiled. When Edmond (daddy) became ill, she retired from Cali-Fame of Los Angeles to become his caregiver.

Arriving in Los Angeles Pansy attended Wadsworth Elementary, McKinley Avenue (Carver Jr. High) and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. She had a very brief nursing career. In July of 1947, Pansy Lee united in holy matrimony to Tyree Brown, Jr., where they became the proud parents to Pamela Diane and Glen Edward.

Pansy accepted Jesus Christ at an early age on February 19, 1956. She became a member of St. John Baptist Church in Los Angeles under the leadership of Pastor James A. Brooks. She enjoyed being a member of the Adult Women\'s Sunday School Class. After the marriage resolved with Tyree, she married Wilbert H. Watson aka âPopsâ in March 1976, who preceded her in death in April 2017.  Wilbert affectionately called her âSugar Babe.â They met at St. John Baptist Church and were married for 41 years.

Pansy and Pops enjoyed driving with Natish to Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Santa Claus Lane. Early in their retirement they also enjoyed going to Del Amo, South Bay, and Carson Malls. Some of their favorite restaurants were Coco\'s, Norm\'s, and Hometown Buffet. They were members of the Guys and Gals Senior Citizen Club. Pansy was also an original member of the 34th Street Block Club.

Pansy was very creative with her hands. In high school, she started sewing and designing her own clothes. She made clothes for herself and Pamela and even made Pamela\'s wedding dress. She decorated numerous church hats; enjoyed painting the interior/exterior of her home, gardening, knitting, crocheting, holiday decorations. Moreover, Pansy enjoyed being the grandmother to Natish and great-grandmother to Jasmine, Jade, and Jailen, aka âThe Girls.â She was their personal child care provider for many years. As time passed on, Pansy would stare out of the living room window listening to the radio and watching everyone pass by.

Pansy was friendly and known in the neighborhood. She would throw many birthday parties, baby showers for friends at her home and was overall such a caring and giving woman.

Indeed she will be greatly missed and leaves memories to be cherished by her daughter Pamela Webb; son Glen Brown (Rhodella); granddaughter Natish (Deneyvous âNobbyâ) Hewitt; granddaughters: Jasmine, Jade, and Jailen (Co-Co) Hewitt; godson Lawrence Burton Jr., and play sister Joyce Burton. She also leaves her next-door neighbors for over 20 years Ramon and Graciela Villasano, as well as a host of friends.
