Chevonne Renee Steger was born on July 10, 1979, to Freddy Leroy Steger and Lillian Diane Steger in Los Angeles, California. She was affectionately known to most as �Von� or �Vonnie� and �Auntie� to her niece Alexus (Pooh) and �Sis� to her big Sis Celeste.

Von received her elementary education from Fifty-Fourth Street School, her middle school education from Orville Wright and she attended Westchester High School. Von enjoyed many sports including basketball, baseball, in-line skating, and skateboarding. As a child, she fell in love with the tunes of Denise Williams. She loved spending time and hanging with her friends at Holly Park on Van Ness & 120th.

Von had great work ethics. She was recently hired at Jiffy Lube and had great aspirations for herself. She was an awesome caregiver to her Grandmother (Mama) and Niece (Pooh) for many years, and she also kept care of her younger cousins.

Von had plenty of life-long friends, and she will dearly be missed by her family including her Grandparents William and Rachel Harris and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.
