On November 30, 1920, in Center Point, Arkansas, God blessed Arthur and Emma with a baby boy named Ardmore Whitemore. Ardmore has six sisters and four brothers who all preceded him in death: Palastine, Dessie Lee, Maedale, Hazel Blanche and Arlene, Blue-August, Vern Lee (Snoop) Big Boy and George.


He received his education at Center Point High School in Center Point, Arkansas.

In 1939, he met and married \"Isabella.\"  The love of his life.  With this union, they were blessed with four boys, Archie, James, Oliver, and Michael.  Ardmore was a very loving and caring person.  He had a heart of gold.  He was a compassionate man who found joy and happiness with his sons and grandchildren, family and friends.  Ardmore loved sports such as Wrestling and the LA Dodgers.

He worked for the Lumber & Sawmill Industry as a Machinist for over 30 years.  He also worked in the Forestry Industry fighting wildfires.

Ardmore supported his Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren in all their endeavors.  He attended Football, Basketball and Baseball games to show his love and support.

Ardmore will be remembered for strong willingness and sheer with.  His favorite slogans: REMEMBER TO STOP AT ALL RED LIGHTS AND STOP SIGNS & KEEP ON PUSHING.

Ardmore fought a good fight until Sunday, December 30, 2018, @ 10:20 AM.  God opened his arms and welcomed him home.  His memory and legacy will be cherished by his wife Isabella (Preceded him in death); sons: Archie - Hercules, CA (Preceded him in death), James (Michelle) - Carson, CA, Oliver - West Covina, and Michael - Los Angeles, CA, his adopted son Johnnie Mitchell.  Grandchildren: Darrin (Carmen) - Eastvale, CA Krystal (Stan) - Corona, CA, Dana (Ronald-Preceded him Death) - Los Angeles, CA, Quinn - Hercules, CA, Great-Grandchildren Noah, Delany, and Ronnell.  Great-Great-Grandchild Joshua.  A special friendship who Otha Roots and Bishop Jimmie Lee and a host of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
