On October 5, 1962, a beautiful baby girl was born to the proud parents Woodrow Scott and Yvonne Clark; they named her Terri Yvonne Scott. She was the fifth of eight children. She accepted Jesus Christ in her early years of life.

Terri attended 97th Street School as a young child and went on to further her education at Locke, Taft and Reseda High Schools. In her young adult life, she reunited with Eric Waters â��Emoeâ�� whom she married and became Mrs. Terri Yvonne Waters until her sunset. Previous children joined to this marriage from her husband, daughter Esha L. Waters, and granddaughter, Lana Reed.

Her passion in life was the youth, the children of the future. She worked for the Board of Educations within the Los Angeles Unified School District at 59th Street School for 28 years.

She enjoyed family gatherings, watching TV, cooking, reading, poetry, dancing, and sports.

On November 24, 2018, the gates of Heaven opened, and God\'s Angel (Terri) said: â��Iâ��m ready, letâ��s go,â�� and she accepted her wings.

Those preceding her in death were her father, Woodrow Scott, mother, Yvonne Clark, brother, Michael Scott, and nephew, Brandon Scott.

Those left to cherish her memories are husband, Eric L. Waters, daughter, Esha L. Waters, brothers: Eric Scott, Avery Scott, Anthony Scott, Greg Scott, and Kirk Green; sisters: Charisse Scott, Cindy Scott, Wanda Scott, Jeaneva Scott, and Jeanna Scott; granddaughter, Lana Reed, sisters-in-law, Lisa White-Barns, and Sandra Waters; special friends: Charmaine Watkins, and Natasha King. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Terri was loved by all she came in contact with.
