Earline Allen was born September 6, 1932, in Richmond, Texas to the late Emma Mae Latson and Earl Robinson. She was the eldest of four siblings.

She accepted Christ at an early age and attended the family church Zion Watchtower Baptist Church and Shiloh Baptist Church in Richmond, Texas. After moving to Houston, Texas at age 6, she attended Jerusalem Baptist Church.

In September 1949, she gave birth to her eldest son. In September 1953 she gave birth to her second child, a daughter. In April 1955 she gave birth to her third child, also a daughter. In October 1958 she gave birth to a fourth child, another daughter. In July 1960 she gave birth to her fifth child, a son. In November 1964 she gave birth to her sixth child, another son.

With God\'s guidance, strength of will, and strong determination she made up her mind to follow her dream. In 1965 she moved her family to California where she worked as a domestic for many years to support her family.

Wanting to better herself and her family\'s financial future she went back to school. She received her GED from Dorsey High School and continued on to vocational school obtaining her degree as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Her preference was to work with geriatric patients as she had a great affinity for the elderly and felt she could make a difference in their healthcare and lives.

With the birth of her first Grandchild, she was unofficially dubbed âGrandmere.â Loving unconditionally whether you were related by blood or being âAdoptedâ into the family. Even if she was reading one of her many Harlequin Romance books, working a jigsaw puzzle, a crossword puzzle, or a word search you could always depend on a smile or positive word from Grandmere. And if you asked - a word of advice.

Never giving up on God she attended Travelers Rest Baptist Church in Los Angeles and later attending Greater Faith Ministries. She was an avid supporter of all the events and fundraisers in the church, right up until God called her home.

Earline was predeceased by her eldest son â Anthony âTonyâ Allen, and grandson - Ayreck Lockhart.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children: Philippa Reed (TX), Johnetta Magee (Alvin), Lavern Allen, Bert Allen, and Kiver Allen Sr. (VA). Sisters: Ollie B. Kay (Eugene) and Debra Latson, 13 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great-Grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Earline will be greatly missed but will live on forever in our hearts and memories. She is now resting safely in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
