Lillie Beatrice Rash was born on February 13, 1040, in Eleanor, Mississippi to Eddie Baker Sr. and Lucile Baker. Lillie was the third of three children.

Lillie attended Eleanor High, in Eleanor, Mississippi. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized in Mississippi.  Lillie was a member of Revelation Church Apostolic Faith, Inc. for about 7 years under the leadership of Pastor Glenn Perkins. 

Lillie met Sammy Lee Rash Sr., while she was in Mississippi.  They dated and were eventually united in Holy Matrimony.  Their union was blessed with four children, Sammy Lee Jr., James Earl, Alexander, and Myischa Nicole. Lillie and Sammy shared 57 years of marriage.

Lillie was employed by the City of Los Angeles, as a Custodian for 35 years. Lillie enjoyed watching TV, fishing, and going out to dance. She loved her family dearly. Lillie Beatrice Rash a.k.a. âRedâ was a very loving woman. She was always there to help her family with anything. She always liked going out with the family and enjoying herself. She was a very strong mother, wife, and friend. She was a church-going person that enjoyed the word of the Lord at any time. She will be missed very much by family and church friends.

Lillie was preceded in death by husband, Sammy Lee Rash Sr. and son, James Earl Rash Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Sammy Lee Rash Jr., Alexander Rash, and Myischa Nicole Rash; brother, Eddie Baker Jr. (Betha), grandchildren: Melody Rash, Melissa Hudspeth, James Earl Rash Jr., Alexandria Collins, Tiffany Rash, Kandi Cook, Parris Cook, Robert Cook, Danaya Cook, and Jayshawn Cook; greatgrandchildren: Shemaj Rash, Khai Collins, and Shaâmiya Rash. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
