Cecile Dixon Baker was born to Ed Dixon and Jettie Barron Dixon on December 19, 1943, in Muddy Woods, AL. She accepted Christ at an early age. Cecile was united in Holy Matrimony to Floyd Baker.

She was a devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend. She loved her family. She departed this earthly life on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.

Cecile was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Jettie Dixon, her husband, Floyd Baker, and three of her brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memories five brothers: Herman Dixon, UL Dixon, Ed Dixon, Wally (Brenda) Dixon, and Elder Rome (Vergie) Dixon; one sister, Scnelda Phillips, two brothers-in-law: T.C. and Henry Baker; four step-children: John L., and Floyd Baker, Jr., Barbara Ann Wilkes, and Bobbie Ruth Baker; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She also leaves her longtime friend and neighbor, Sis. Bertha Jones.
