Judge Thomas was born March 29, 1927, from the union of Henry and Carrie Thomas in Florida. He was the sixth of fourteen children born within that beautiful union. He accepted Christ at an early age as a member of Pleasant Grove MBC in Florida.

He came to California in the early to mid-1940\'s, where he made a home with his wife, Leozie (who preceded him in death), in Compton, California and to this union a son was born, Cornelius Thomas.

Judge Thomas was employed at Hunts Packing Company for many years before retiring. He in later years married Debbie Thomas whom he loved and spent the last fourteen years with.

He loved to work on classic cars, playing the piano and tending to the backyard, he was also an excellent cook.

Among other gifts he received for his birthday, the one he always adored was a cake baked by his little sister, Layer Darden, every year she would make him a cake. This year he requested banana pudding made by his brother-in-law, LB Darden, and of course, he enjoyed every bite of it.

His famous words were âTell everyone I love them.â Judge was a hard working loving man who was loved by many, especially the children walking to school in the morning. Everyone that walked by, he would speak to and tell them to have a good day or say something funny and witty.

He will be missed by so many people he touched with his smile and kind words throughout his lifetime.

Judge Thomas was preceded in death by twelve of his siblings, and first wife, Leozie Thomas. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Debbie Thomas, youngest sister, Layer Darden, brother-in-law, LB Darden, his son, Cornelius Thomas, a bonus daughter, Ingrid, granddaughers: Ty\'Tiana and Nevaeh; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
