On August 28, 1984, A baby boy was born at Martin Luther King Hospital, in Los Angeles, California. The proud parents, Theopheus Lee Bennett Jr. and Timika Andrews named him Theopheus Lee Bennett III. He was the first of four. Theopheus became affectionately known as âCudaâ by family and friends.

Theopheus attended Zella Doris Elementary in Hawthorne, CA, and graduated from Lompoc High School. Growing up Theopheus was a Boy Scott in middle school, and he loved basketball.

Theopheus accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized.
He became a member of Praises of Zion Baptist Church.   Theopheus helped the community in the City of Lompoc for over 10 years; he was a volunteer. Theopheus enjoyed basketball, football, Rap music, and watching TV. He loved ALL his family and enjoyed family gatherings.

Cuda was lovable, kind, humble, and sweet; he was always smiling and willing to help others. He was especially kind to his mother âSweetie Pieâ. One of his favorite sayings was âHey moms, let me be me.â

Those who preceded him in death were his grandparents: Theopheus Bennett Sr., Christine Goodman and Margret Bennett; his aunts, Latrice Bennett, his uncle, Wayne Bennett, and godmother Katura âToo Tooâ Downey.

Those left to cherish his memories are mother, Timika Andrews
Fields, father, Theopheus Bennett, Jr., great-grandmother Zora Howard, and uncle, Travis Andrews sisters: Ramika Brown, Trashay Turner, and Treasure Turner; aunts Taneisha, Michelle, Letha, Takeshy, Lakesha, Trikesha and Bernell; one nephew Camarine, special friends, V\'on and Derick.
