Willie Coleman, Jr. affectionally known to most as âPapa Willieâ and âJr.â was the second son born to Willie Coleman, Sr. and Lula Harris in Texarkana, Arkansas.

At an early age, Willie accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. His faith in God and love for Christ was evident throughout his life. He attended Prosperity Missionary Baptist Church of Los Angeles until his health began to fail. Willie served as a Deacon in Palo Alto, CA. He enjoyed studying and reading his Bible. After moving to Los Angeles, Willie worked in construction as well as the San Pedro Shipyard.

Willie could go hours playing Pea Knuckle and Dominoes. He loved to drive, especially his Van. Willie enjoyed his numerous Vegas trips with cousin Willie Mae Russell. You could always count on Willie to show support to family and friends. His sweet, lovable presence made everyone feel comfortable.

Willie Coleman, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory James (Dorothy) McKinnie and Ray Watkins who were by his side until God called him home. He is survived by his son, Willie Coleman III and a host of family, friends and loved ones.
