Martha Ann McConnaha was called home on January 19th, 2018, and greeted by her loved ones in heaven.  She was born to William and Gertrude Thornburg in Ohio, on April 30, 1933, Married Charles McConnaha on July 8th, 1950 They moved to sunny California to get away from the snow and start anew. She was a military wife, mother of 10, grandmother and great-grandmother of many. Though she would scowl when crossed, it quickly faded into a smile. She is loved by all.

If roses grow in Heaven
Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Mother\'s arms
and tell her they\'re from me.

Tell her that I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there\'s an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
