On January 1, 2018, at 2:33 PM Clydie Daniels passed through the gate at the end of the road.

Clydie was born on June 6, 1952, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Prentiss and Sarah Wilkerson (both preceded her in death). Clydie was the youngest of five children born to this union. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Reverend Milton T. Perry.

Clydie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior in Shreveport, Louisiana at an early age and continued to walk with her Master until she was called home.

Clydie and Shelia, the youngest of the siblings, moved to Los Angeles, California early in 1972 after their mother moved to Los Angeles.  Upon her arrival, she united with the Greater Union Baptist Church, Pastored by the late Milton T. Perry.

After moving to Los Angeles, Clydie met and married Moses Daniels in 1978; he preceded her in death. There were no children in this union.

Clydie prepared for her life profession by attending the LA Trade Tech and Paramedical Occupational Center. She was employed by the Cedars Sinai Hospital where she enjoyed working for over thirty years.

Clydie leaves to cherish her memory and to anticipate a glorious reunion with her three sisters: Shirley Gideon, Sandra Thornton, and Shelia Jordan; and one brother, Prentiss Wilkerson; two nieces, five nephews, four great nieces, nine great-nephews, beloved cousins and treasured friends.
