In Loving Memory of Ardelia B. Johnson

September 9, 1924 - September 15, 2015

Ardelia B. Johnson was born September 9, 1924, in Coweta, Oklahoma to Minnie and George W. Bland. She was the 8th child of four brothers and three sisters, all whom that have predeceased her in death.

Ardelia accepted God at an early age and since 1989, she had been a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church. During her membership at Trinity, she was the Chairperson of the Lydia Circle for five years.

Ardelia was the matriarch of the family, who had a passion for travel, entertaining and she was the glue to the Family Reunions. After working many years and retiring from the Los Angeles County, she started her own Tax Preparation Business for friends, family and the community.

Her spirit of Love and Cherished memories will always remain with her daughter Joy Evon Whigham (Lemar), two grandchildren, John Kelley, Jr., (Joanna) and Tina Kelley, six great-grandchildren, Derrick, Paul, James, Conner, Lauren and Evan. She had two special nephews: Napoleon (Chuck) and Johnny (Smoke) Midget and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
