In Loving Memory of Joshua Edward Ford
October 22, 1985 - November 3, 2019
Joshua Edward Ford was born on October 22, 1985, at Vandenberg Air Force Base in Santa Barbara County, California, to Gregg and Linda Ford. He is the first and eldest son of eight brothers and sisters. Josh transitioned from this life on November 3, 2019.
Josh attended Willard Elementary in Long Beach, Carnegie Middle School, and Carson Sr. High-in Carson, California, where he excelled as an All-Star football player. Josh's father, Gregg, recognized his skills in playing football as a little boy and kept Josh and his two younger brothers, Jovan and Jordan, actively participating in football. He continued his education at El Camino College, where he pursued his passion for playing football and went on to play Semi-Pro Football as a Wide Receiver and Running Back.
Josh was also a musician, with a witty style and love for playing the guitar, writing poetry, and journaling his Love and Life experiences -- creative at heart. Josh displayed his musical talent at various gatherings and through his social media platforms.
Another talent he possessed was his entrepreneurial skills as a Barber, which he utilized to sustain his livelihood. To his friends, Josh was private about his personal life-being raised by a single dad. But his love for his sons, Evan and Carter, is a reflection of all the love Josh harbored inside.
Josh leaves behind beautiful, funny and heartfelt memories to be cherished by his two beautiful sons and daughter-whom he adored: 8 year old Evan Anthony Ford, 4 year old Carter Saldana and 2 year old Tegan Marie Ford, his Father: Gregg Evan Ford, Mother: Linda Ferrari-Fiddmont, his Sisters: Jacinta Hopkins (preceded him in death), Aminah Falaah, his Brothers: Jovan Ford, Jordan Ford, Qaamar Falaah, Aaron Richardson-Ford, Omaari Falaah Ford and his 2 year old Niece: Layla Ford.
