Clarkson "Levert" in Chicago, IL, on August 23, 1929, and passed
on October 12, 2019, in Granada Hills CA. He was 92 years young.
served in the Army for 3 years as an Ammunition Supply Specialist.
served in the Korean War, where he received a medal with 4 service
After that, he served in Germany, where he received another medal.
highest rank was Corporal. He received an honorable discharge in 1953.
graduated from Metropolitan College and attended several schools

Gilbert was a loving father who always tried his best to tend to
needs of each of his sons. He loved sports with boxing and football,
among his favorites. He enjoyed traveling, the outdoors and exercise.

Dad loved his family, and those family values were always there when

Clarkson, and Rodney Clarkson; as a brother he is survived by a sister
Clarkson Kindred, and brother Don (Pearl) Clarkson, sister-in-law
Townsend; aunt and uncle Mary and Abraham Huffman; as uncle
we must recognize his many nieces and nephews for they are our
family's future. He
