In Loving Memory of James Edward Reeves

September 8, 1930 - July 7, 2019

James Edward Reeves was born to the late Ashton H. Reeves, Sr. and Katie Reeves, on September 8, 1930. He was educated in the Dallas County School System. James enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his Country.

He accepted Christ at an early age while living in Dallas, Texas at the New Hope Baptist Church. He later moved to California and united with West Angeles Church of God In Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and seven sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memories, sister Evelyn Traylor, sister-in-law Dorothy Reeves, and his loving life partner of seventeen years, Sylvia Tave; he also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
