In Loving Memory of Toni Woods

August 28, 1941 - June 27, 2019

Toni Agness Woods was born August 28, 1941, in Los Angeles, California to John Anthony Cooper and Kathrine Marie Cooper.

Toni graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, the class of 1958.

Toni accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Odelia‚s Catholic Church. She was a member of Holy Name under the leadership of Father Gregory.

Toni was employed by Rena B Rehabilitation as a cook and Counselor. She enjoyed playing Bingo, watching soap operas, and going to restaurants with family and friends.

Mom was very outgoing, feisty, and didn't take no mess. She loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed taking them to China Town to eat. Toni helped several women get their lives together by sponsoring them in there recovery. Her favorite saying was, ‚Honey Child and See You Later Alligator.‚ Mom was such an amazing and beautiful person. She will truly be missed.

Those who preceded her in death were her parents Katherine Cooper and John Cooper Sr., her son Shawn M. Jones, and brother John Cooper Jr.

Those left to cherish her memories are sons: Anthony Redmond, and Lenton Gray; daughter Antoinette Cooper, brother Michael Clark, and sister Lisa Cooper, grandchildren: Eric Butler, Kashey Cooper, Keion Anderson, Shawn Jones Jr., Antoinette Redmond, Shamari Gray, Kyron Gray, Lenton Gray III, Katelyn Gray and Keith Gray; a niece Kai Cooper, and a host of friends.
