In Loving Memory of Jacqueline Marie Conley

September 9, 1957 - January 27, 2019

Jacqueline Marie Amey was born on September 9, 1957, to Shirley & Theodore Amey. She attended Mark Twain Elementary School, Vanguard Junior High School and Morningside High School in Inglewood, California. After high school, she attended Cal State Fullerton University where she majored in Business Administration.

At the age of 19 years old she married Hermon Conley Jr. On February 12, 1979, Jacqueline gave birth to her very first child a baby girl; they named her Shameka Monique Conley. Hermon and Jacqueline raised their two daughters in Orange County, California, Marzella Conley, and Shameka Conley. Many years later due to irreconcilable differences, Hermon and Jacqueline's marriage came to an end. Due to their strong friendship, they remained very good friends throughout the years. Later on in the years Jacqueline met Jimmy Ray Green. On June 9, 1990, Jimmy and Jacqueline were blessed to give birth to twin babies, Lashawna Michelle Green and Tysean Terell Green. Jacqueline decided to raise her children as a single mom between Long Beach and Orange County, California, where she was employed as a payroll coordinator at King's Seafood Company. In the early 2000's Jacqueline Conley received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She then joined Loving & Unity Christian Fellowship led by Apostle Ronald C. Hill Sr. where she was baptized and was glad to be of service to the Lord. Jacqueline touched the lives of many. On January 15, 2015, Jacqueline was diagnosed with lung cancer, but she did not let that stop her. She lived life to its fullest, and she believed in the Lord and thanked God for every day he blessed her with.

The Lord called Jacqueline home on January 27, 2019. Those who preceded her in death were her father, Theodore Amey, grandparents, Josephine Bishop, Horace James, Theodore Amey Jr., Lorena "Pat" Amey, and an uncle, Paul Amey.

She also leaves behind four children: Shameka Conley, Tysean Green, LaShawna Green, and Marzella Conley; sons-in-law, Jerome Winston, and Khaliq Asharri, mother, Shirley George, siblings: Anthony (Patricia) Amey, Yvonne Amey (Glenn) Bryant, and Theodora Amey; grandchildren: Alayjha Forde, Tarron Forde, Cullen Counter, Emani Asharri, Elijah Asharri, Kennedy and Madison Winston, Gianni and Tristion Colbert; uncles and aunts: Cecil and Beverly Smith, Shirley Amey, and Betty Heard. She also leaves a godchild, Kiera Charlsten, special friends: Perry Mack, Gina Hibler, and Vivian Ward, Delbert Daily and Diana Valencia, and Athena Drapper; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers, and friends.
