In Loving Memory of Nicholas A. Sanchez

August 13, 1999 - January 2, 2019

Nicholas A. Sanchez was born on August 13, 1999, to Fitzgerald and Yolanda Sanchez in Los Angeles, California. Nicholas attended Community Magnet Elementary and went onto Foshay Middle School.  Nicholas graduated Valedictorian of New Earth Youth Build High School Class of 2017. Nicholas was outgoing, brave, determined and dedicated to his daughter Ja'Sani Hazel Sanchez and his daughter's mother, Jocelyn Arellano. Nicholas accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and dedicated to the church at the early age of 3 months of age, at Manchester Baptist Church.

Nicholas loved talking on the phone for hours reminiscing on old times with his mother, brother, and cousin's Christopher and Jamari. His mother would often call his brother Marlon Sanchez to keep him in line. Nicholas loved sports, and most of all he was a true wrestling fan he would stay up late at night to see Wrestle Mania. Nicholas treasured the bond that he shared with his mother and brother's Justin, and Marlon Sanchez. Nicholas had a zest for life, and he treasured family and friends. Nicholas loved being adventurous, wrestling, boxing, cooking, and eating. When he discovered that he was going to be a father his life was complete, he loved his baby girl, Ja'Sani Hazel Sanchez. He would often speak of times he wanted to take her on strolls in the park, getting ice cream and enjoying their life together. Nicholas often spoke of raising his daughter in another state to give his daughter a better life. He enjoyed spending time with his uncle Fella, and grandmother in Georgia; cutting the grass, and talking about the good times. Nicholas would spend time with his Aunty Cheryl making pizza while watching the dough rise in the oven. Nicholas and Jocelyn enjoyed going on picnics at the Rose Garden. Nicholas will always be remembered for his bright smile, high spirit, and his loving heart. Nicholas loved spending time with his auntie Baby and cousins: Monica, May"Loni, Melvin, Monique, Davone, and Marcel.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his brother Brandon A. Sanchez, grand mothers: Lillian Gibson, Ideara Cade, and Ruby Caldwell; grandfathers: Oscar Adams, Roy L. Caldwell, Sr., and A.C. Caldwell: an aunt Janet Cade, and first cousin Chavase Ferrera Cade.
