November 12, 1942 - June 24, 2018

Barbara Loretta Snyder was born November 12, 1942, in Oklahoma to Louise Edwards. She was Louise's firstborn. Barbara was educated in the Oklahoma Unified School District. Barbara accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized in Oklahoma. Barbara was a member of Greater Assembly Baptist Church.

Barbara worked for the Compton Skilled Nursing Home; she was a Nurse's Assistance for over 20 years. Barbara loved family gatherings, watching TV and listening to music. She was the life of the party and helpful to others.

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Foster, stepfather, Mirrian Foster, brother, Wydell Edwards, aunt, Hazel Pace, uncle, George Edwards, and grandson, Mark Greene II.

She leaves to cherish her memories, sons: Mark Greene, and Michael Jollivette; siblings: Stanley Foster (Debora) and Donald Foster (Theanitta), grandchild, Myiesha Greene, great-grandchildren: Nioni Williams, Maloni Williams and Alijah Williams; she also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
